The Windsor Series Staunton chessmen are by far one the finest examples of Staunton chessmen available. With their classic vintage Staunton design, we are delighted to add this slighter taller ebony version for this set.

The chessmen are made from the highest grade black ebony and clean grained boxwood. The value of ebony continues to rise as it becomes more and more scarce, making this set an excellent investment opportunity. These pieces have been expertly finished and polished to a natural shine. No lacquer is used to create this superb finish, it’s the meticulous hand polishing of the dense hard woods that have created such an immaculate finish, something you won’t find in entry level sets.
