Royal Flower Mahogany Chess Set

The Royal Flower chess set provides an slight departure, but elegant remux of the Staunton design. This is chiefly reflected in the King’s finial and the Queen’s crown. The dark pieces are made from ebonised boxwood and really look like solid ebony. the chess board is made from real veneers of sustainable European Mahogany and Maple and has a light layer of satin lacquer for protection. At 16 inches in width, this chess set is the perfect size for home use where space is a little tight.

The chess board in this set has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
