Product Description

Greek / Roman Army metal chess set presented in a wooden cabinet. The chess pieces are made from brass and nickel plated cast metal. The detail is excellent and features classic characters from the Anicent armies of Greece and Rose. Includes the Emperor, queen, officers and foot soldiers. The rook is a classic architectural column and the knight a horse mounted infantry leader.

The chess board is also made from metal and has a distinctive burnished olive green finish and pillar feet on each corner. Made in Greece by world famous games maker Manopoulos.

Please note the red felt tray in our images has now been replaced by a more superior, protective black foam to protect these beautiful pieces and board.
