The Milanese craftsmen who conceived these pieces were so intent on creating something unique that they went about engraving every piece with an intricate, filigree-like pattern. The result of their diligent, almost obsessive, attention to detail are the Maghreb Brass and Nickel Chess Pieces, offered here at Regency Chess.
This collection gives a nod to the traditional Staunton style although it has been altered to fit a regal, slender motif.
Despite the elegant appearance, the Maghreb chess pieces still hold plenty of weight thanks to their solid brass makeup.
Here at Regency Chess we recommend using these metal chess pieces on a board of around 19 or 20 inches square.
