The Madrid Series chessmen are presented here in graded sheesham and boxwood. Sheesham, also known as golden rosewood, is a rich brown hardwood found in India. It has a lovely deep grain pattern and is highly attractive. It is less expensive than sandalwood and ebony which is why are are able to offer these exquisite chessmen at such an affordable price.
