A high grade walnut and maple veneered construction using modern fabrication techniques has produced a board with simple lines and very critical detailing. This is a quality large chess board produced by prestigious chess board maker Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain. The walnut grain of the playing squares is magnificent and the board base is equally well finished using high grade veneer. Perfect for accompanying with chess piece king heights of 3.75 to 4.25 inches (95 to 108 mm).

This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
