Beautifully crafted chess board produced by esteemed chess board maker Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain. A natural ‘tiger stripe’ ebony and maple veneered construction is used for the playing surface with wenge wood veneer used on the board’s base. Modern fabrication techniques are used, resulting in a chess board with clean, precise lines and very critical detailing. Natural, untreated ebony has a rich, contrasting dark grain which is simply stunning and well suited to modern interior designs. This board is perfect for chess pieces with 3.75 inch (95 mm) kings.

This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
